MEET THE TEAM
Emma Carver

Emma set up Corporate Capability over 15 years ago having had a successful in house career. Her experiences in the world of L&D & Resourcing included working in OD and managing the Customer Operations Training team for Energis, leading the Assessment and L&D function for Capital Consulting and working as a Strategic Resourcing Business Partner for Prudential. As part of her journey into the assessment & development world, Emma worked heavily as an associate for a number of large consultancies such as Penna & SHL and went in house for 2 years with SHL in 2010. Emma is particularly passionate about helping to identify and mobilise talent and giving individuals richer personal insights to realise their potential. She regularly runs team building workshops and believes in energising teams through guided facilitation alongside experiential learning. She is qualified in a wide range of psychometric tools and is a Master Practitioner in Emotional Intelligence. Alongside her work in Leadership Assessment & Development, she is driven to improve standards and encourage the growth of emerging managers by giving those with the aspiration to lead the opportunity to develop their expertise in best practice and up to date tools. Emma is a professionally trained Actor and TV Presenter and regularly brings these skills into her training and assessment work. 

Patrick Haywood

Patrick is a highly experienced Organisational Development practitioner and executive coach delivering strategic learning to the retail, advertising, manufacturing and charity sectors, across multi-site organisations. Patrick specialises in the planning, design and implementation of communication programmes to support organisational change, helping to build learning cultures and successfully

mediating complex employee relations issues. He is a Senior PRISM Brain Mapping practitioner focussing on using neuroscience to help people understand and view human behaviour, and is accredited to deliver Sociomapping workshops for executive teams. He has been an associate member of the Association for Coaching since 2003.

Barry McNeill

Barry is a questioner; a challenger of the status quo; a disruptor of conventional thinking; enabling leadership teams to rethink how they lead and engage to achieve greater outcomes and impact. With a proven track record of over 20 years of working in people assessment, learning and development and HR consulting delivery, he enables high impact organisational change and transformation in global, multi-nationals to rapidly accelerating scale-ups

across numerous sectors and industry verticals. His core guiding principles are in building and nurturing deep levels of trust to enable leaders to surface tensions and experiment with new ideas or ways of working within and across their organisation. With a strong blend of data-driven evidence and creative practice, his mission is to enable leaders to unleash the energy within their people to thrive, do their best work and co-create vibrant workplaces.

Mia O'Gorman

Mia is an accredited Executive Coach and Leadership Development Specialist with a career spanning human resources, assessment, talent management and consulting. Her passion is working with leaders to achieve sustainable success through advancing their personal growth, professional careers and organizational value. Mia brings more than 20 years’ experience in developing people and organisations.

She held roles at at Land Rover, HBOS and EON before transitioning to consultancy, including world-leading talent assessment firm SHL, and applied Emotional Intelligence specialist JCA Global. She has led many significant assignments, partnering with global clients across multiple industry sectors. Coaching clients through career-defining moments such as promotions, leading re-structures and enabling culture change has become an area of expertise for Mia.

Clients describe Mia as “a fantastic coach, allowing me the space to explore who I am in a calm, measured, reflective and honest environment” and say her coaching “has been hugely beneficial for my leadership and personal development journey”.

Voirrey Acloque

A compassionate and skilled assessment consultant and leadership behaviour specialist. Voirrey is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of consultancy assignments, whilst safeguarding great client relationships. Passionate about developing self-awareness and emotional flexibility, allowing us to bring our whole selves to work. She recently spent three years in house at BT

as part of their leadership capability team which supported the senior most leaders at BT. She programme managed a suite of leadership development programmes, conducted executive assessments, developed their 360 offer and revised the leadership behaviour framework to reflect BT’s new ambition and strategy.

Voirrey’s work with SHL spanned assessment centre design and delivery, in-person and virtual training, creation of bespoke custom psychometric tools and various analysis projects such as adverse impact and cut-off analysis.

Before working for SHL, Voirrey lead assessment centre projects at Willis and project managed large learning and development programmes at Deutsche Bank.

Caroline Beeston

talent and assessment consultancies in senior consulting and commercial roles.  Here she developed a niche in leadership development; designing and delivering various programs to support recruitment, talent/succession, restructuring etc.  She has partnered with global organisations and companies across multiple industries and client projects have given her experience of working in various countries and cultures. Caroline is known for her passion in helping leaders thrive in their roles, which comes with her deep interest in personal development and wellbeing. She qualified as an Executive Coach through the AoEC.

She held HR roles for 10 years at EC Harris and RBS before working for 12 years at one of the world’s leading

Graham Hutt

Graham specializes in selection, assessment, development and coaching, working across a range of industry sectors and job levels from interns to senior managers and executives. His projects span the design and delivery of objective selection processes, facilitation of assessment and development centres, one-to-one feedback sessions and career development interventions. Graham initially worked

as a Change Management consultant for a large financial services company before moving into HR consulting, 16 years ago.  He works with some of the leading HR consultancies, operating across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.  He has delivered projects for a broad range of clients, including HSBC, AXA, Egg, Prudential, Nat West, AMP, British Council, BT, RWE Npower, Airbus, Aryzta, Highways Agency, Planning Inspectorate, Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), National College, OFSTED, Ministry of Defence (MOD) and various NHS trusts.

Selena Ram

With a career spanning over 21 years, when it comes to selection, assessment and development, Selena, pretty much has seen it all and been there and done that! People, and understanding and getting the best from people are her forte. With a combination of working both in house and offering consultancy work, both in the UK and abroad, she has offered her experience as a chartered Occupational Psychologist,

facilitator and project manager. Selena trained in neuro linguistic programming, and has found this a very useful tool when working with clients to set and achieve goals, and to support individual and career advancement. Selena’s in house experience started at the Priory Hospital, where she helped to counsel high profile and well known individuals in their personal lives. She moved onto corporate, where she gained experience in managing and delivering the whole project cycle, which included training prior to and then coaching post the assessment and development centres. Through this she developed a passion for imparting her knowledge and experience to maximise others’ performance, wellbeing and happiness both in life and in the workplace.

Rhian Blaszkowicz

Rhian is an experienced Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Registered Coach, Facilitator and Talent Management Specialist with 20 years’ business experience, predominantly in the area of behavioural assessment and development at leadership level. She has led the design and delivery of many high-profile assignments, partnering with an extensive range of public and private sector clients across many

industries, including prestigious global organisations., informing and embedding best-in-class methodologies and consistent delivery approaches across client solutions. Coaching leaders in international contexts has become an area of particular expertise borne out of these experiences, along with challenging organisational boundaries to introduce successful talent management practices more broadly. Often working with individuals and organisations at key transition or decision points, she leverages her experience in cognitive behavioural coaching to uncover and challenge limiting beliefs. Her clients describe her as “committed and passionate; an outstanding professional”, and that “through well-placed challenge and reflection, Rhian has helped me to become the better version of myself”.

Mel Francis

Mel Francis, Chartered FCIPD, is an accomplished HR Director with over 25 years’ experience gained in the public, private and not for profit sectors. She has gained her significant experience working in the HE, Edtech, Publishing and Telecoms sectors. As well as being HR Director at SaÑ—d Business School, University of Oxford, Mel has held senior HR posts at Oxford University Press, Vodafone, Energis Communications 

and, most recently, Jisc, an Edtech organisation. She has coached and mentored senior leaders during start-up, growth, restructures and downturn.We were delighted to welcome Mel to our associate team. She has been supporting our leadership programmes as a facilitator and coach in role play situations and has also contributed to our design of neurodiversity training. She is the founder of Neuroinclusive HR and Director of Neurodiversity at Work at Do-IT Solutions. She is a leading speaker on Neurodiversity and Inclusion and works with Professor Amanda Kirby. Mel is also Mum to a brilliant neurodivergent son and takes every opportunity to increase awareness to help to make the world a more accessible place for her son, and for all neurodivergent talent.
